Training School on Epigenetics in Reproductive Biology in Murcia

I had the luck to participate at the Epiconcept Training School on Epigenetics in Reproductive Biology in Murcia, Spain (at the Espinardo Campus, Murcia University, organized by COST Action: FA1201) from 18-05-2015 to 21-05-2015.

21 people from 21 countries had a chance to participate at the very interesting and informative lectures and practices.

Field work in Slovenia

With the company of two Portuguese collegues; Elsa Cabrita and Paulo Gavaia we were in Slovenia for sperm cryopreservation works from 06-04-2015 to 10-04-2015.

The sperm samples from grayling (Thymallus thymallus) individuals were taken in the area of the Angling Association of Tolmin, with the help of Dusan Jesensek and his team.

We were also cryopreserving the sperm of huchen (Hucho hucho) with the group of the Angling club of Radovljica, at the area of the Angling Association of Bled.

Field work in Serbia



We have a good cooperation with colleagues from the Department of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac, Serbia, prof. dr Vlaica Simic and his team. This year we were in Kragujevac for cryopreservation of sperm of Danube barbell (Barbus balcanicus) and huchen (Hucho hucho).

4th AQUAGAMETE Training School “Optical Microscopy and Image Analysis”



Members of our group (Timea Kollar, Zoran Marinovic, Gergely Bernath, Jelena Lujic) attended 4th AQUAGAMETE Training School “Optical Microscopy and Image Analysis” from 16th to 20th March 2015. Training School was organized by Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters, Vodnany, Czech Republic and was supported by COST Action FA1205: AQUAGAMETE.
